Maria Alfaro

Maria is a native Italian and a naturalized U.S. citizen Since 2004, Maria has facilitated TRE® for thousands of people in the U.S, Canada, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East by leading hundreds of public workshops and over 150 certification trainings both in person 43 and online. She is also the co-creator of Neurogenic Yoga™, TRE’s sister method. Maria is known for creating a supportive, compassionate, and entertaining learning environment that is fun and feels safe.

Eunju Choi

Eunju Choi is a certified TRE® provider since 2015 and a Certification Trainer since 2022. As founder and CEO of TRE Korea, she introduced TRE to South Korea in 2016 and continues to expand its presence in Korea and the U.S. Eunju is known for her grounded presence, clinical expertise, and compassionate, client-centered approach. She helps individuals discover their innate capacity for healing, growth, and transformation. Eunju is also a licensed massage therapist and certified Pain Reprocessing Therapist in Buford, GA.

Alex Greene

Alex Greene has been a certified TRE® Provider since 2013 and a Certification Trainer since 2019.  Alex also has trainings and certifications in Somatic Experiencing, Structural Integration, Feldenkrais Method, Internal Family Systems, DARe Attachment work, and the Safe & Sound Protocol.  Alex runs a popular in-person and online TRE® certification training through his group practice Red Beard Somatic Therapy.  He is also the co-founder of Neurogenic Integration an online learning hub for TRE®. Alex has taught TRE to thousands of clients and students around the world and is known for his innovative and dynamic teaching style.

Ellen Mckenzie

Since being introduced to TRE® in 2015, Ellen has developed a personal practice that ultimately supported her own healing process after a series of emergency abdominal surgeries in 2019. She uses TRE® as a systemic support for her clients working to resolve trauma, address anxiety, heal from an injury, or develop a meditation practice.

Donna Phillips

Donna Phillips was introduced to TRE® in 2009 and became a Certification Trainer in 2012.
Donna is an Exercise Physiologist, Certified Yoga Therapist (IAYT), E-RYT500 Yoga Teacher and
Pilates teacher and has worked with specialized/issue-based populations for over 35 years.
Donna’s passion is to help others create a path toward their wellness. She believes every
session can turn into a partnership towards a healthier lifestyle. Donna offers
TRE® Provider Certification Trainings and TRE® Specialty Trainings that focus on chronic pain, auto-immune, chronic fatigue, back and spinal issues, elderly populations, athletes, 1 st responders, military populations and much more!

Paul Darby

Paul Darby has a background helping individuals, groups and families heal trauma. He has worked with sexual abuse victims, veterans, active duty military personnel as well as police and firemen. Paul is a TRE Certification Trainer and Provider, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified EMDR practitioner. He developed the use of several props to aid with TRE. He also was part of an international team that taught TRE to provisional providers in the Philippines in the wake of Typhoon Haiyan. In addition, Paul served on the board of directors of the international entity, TFA (TRE For All Inc.)

Jennica Mills

Jennica is the co-creator of Neurogenic Yoga™, a sister method to TRE® that integrates yoga postures, body-driven movement, and breathwork to safely activate the body’s natural tremor response for stress release and nervous system regulation. She serves as Lead Trainer for the Neurogenic Yoga and TRE Dual Certification Program, designed for yoga professionals seeking trauma-knowledgeable approaches. Introduced to TRE in 2004 and Certification Trainer since 2012, Jennica brings deep expertise in somatic therapies and trauma recovery, fostering inclusive, embodied education in a safe, supportive learning environment.

Lynea Gillen

Lynea’s heart-centered approach grew out of her own trauma recovery and 40+ years as a counselor, teacher, and clinician. Safety, community support, and building resilience are exemplified in her TRE Certification trainings, Yoga Calm for Children program, and award-winning books. Lynea’s continuing education offerings include: the Art of TRE, TRE for Children & Teens, TRE for Generational Patterns, and The Trauma Story. Lynea is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified yoga teacher, and University Professor.
